Roddy Long

Roderick Long was born in Edinburgh and studied at the Royal College of Music in London and the Juilliard School in New York.

He has played professionally with many orchestras including the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Scottish Ensemble,Northern Sinfonia and the Halle. He teaches at the City of Edinburgh Music School and is a string coach and ensemble conductor for the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland..
